What if you all your friends abandoned you because they didn't like who you turned out to be? What if you felt like you were just a liability to others? what if you had marks all over you that reminded you of why you were an outcast?

This is the story of a girl who burned.

**********************************************************************************

Gracie Kerehen was a normal 13 year old, she hung out with friends, she played piano and ice skated. But on March 19th when she and her brother went to their Aunt Floras apartment and some crazy neighbor set the building on fire everything changed. Gracie was caught in the fire and burned all across her arms and legs, she unknowingly saved herself by lying down on the floor in the fire. Now her best friend ran off with the new girl and she's an outcast even in her own house. Almost exactly three months later she hardly talks and drowns the world out in music, she's deathly afraid of fire and thinks there is no coming back from the accident that brought her fragile world crashing down. Everyone else think so too.
