Imagine, living in a hell of a place surrounded by demons who unfortunately happened to have the same blood like you. In other words, living on a household full of evilness and illegal doings. Kassadiah, endure half of her life suffering to witness crime in the hands of her family. She was indeed torn between the bond of family and justice for humanity.
She was succeeding in choosing humanity and was out of the hell only to be put in a purgatory where she has the last decision-a freedom to choose between to climb up to heaven or fall into hell. Of course, who wouldn't want to taste heaven? In the form of ladder, she found Rojan Bruce who became her stairs, a ladder of success and a rope to reach the peace.
But little did she know, the ladder she was stepping to is a ladder with a weak foundation. She trusts and receive hope but it was for temporary. The person she holds unto was the person who forced to push her to hell. The deepest lair of hell.

There's always a part of the story that is covered with pure ashes and specks of dust. Like no one ever really wants to tell the truth. At yon ang masakit. This story? Totally not your usual, promise. Walang damsel-in-distress na naghihintay ng knight-in-shining-armor para i-save siya. Hindi rin 'to tungkol sa clumsy or not-so-pretty girl na bigla na lang nabangga ang isang super hot, demi-God CEO ng sikat na kumpanya. Definitely not about a poor girl na binebenta ang sarili sa isang billionaire tapos in the end magkaka-inlaban sila. This isn't a fairy tale, okay? No fairy godmothers.
