In a brave last stand, Kitty Pryde, Bobby Drake, Bishop, Warpath, Blink, Sunspot and Colossus meet with Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr, Ororo Munroe and Wolverine. They come up with a plan: brave and foolish at the same time. The solution: send Wolverine back in time, to the year 1973, in order to gather the past versions of Erik Lehnsherr, Charles Xavier and Adelaide Lehnsherr-Xavier in order to stop Raven Darkholme (Mystique) from killing scientist Bolivar Trask and creating the Sentinel program.
