We Did It For Skylar

Lux always hated school and decided not to go off to college. Her best friend Jayda was the opposite and got good grades and went to college for fashion. Years later Lux is pregnant and the father is not in the picture, on top of that she's strapped financially while Jayda owns a fashion company and is married to a football player. When Jayda visits Lux in Chicago, Lux's water breaks and she rushes her to the hospital but after giving birth she decides to ask her best friend if she can raise the child as her own. Jayda is hesitant but agrees to do it. Six years later Lux meets her daughter, Skylar, and continues to be in her life as her god mother. Everything is great until she turns sixteen, after years of suspicion Skylar finds her birth certificate and discovers the truth. After realizing that her life has been a lie she runs away to find out the truth about why her mother gave her away, who her father is, and why her her parents lied to her.
