An alternative timeline of my current Honkai Impact book, where Mei and Y/n died during the Nagazora incident because of a missile sent by Otto to kill the Herrscher. But, the will of Honkai herself sees this and decides to give them another chance to live but not in the same world they know. She sees them as her daughter.

In a world where things call spirits exist, a person who has a strong desire to save these so call "spirits", and defense units who have a strong kill these "spirits". How are Y/n and Mei going to adapt to this world? Will they be accepted or rejected by them?
