It was on that rainy day, the day Arthur's heart broke, that he swore he would never ever be happy again. The days following that rainy one left him travelling down into the depths of darkness. However, there can't be darkness without light and one certain ray of sunshine has an uncanny way of following him no matter where he goes.

Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary.
