Drugs have become the center of conflict in Japan, and crime involving them has been increasing at an alarming rate. Unable to control the chaos, the police department settled on creating a unit - STAND - that would include unique, specialised experts and professionals better suited to handle the pressing issue.

Yuèhai or Hai for short - is a child that went through a rough life, but been brought up in good conditions for the last 9 years. Now a child detective testing out newly handmade, high-tech equipment have gathered information regarding STAND. She learned a novice narcotics officer has to persuade the various contenders for STAND isn't the only obstacle she has to face, but becoming involved in the treacherous underworld of drugs, overflowing with deceit and secrecy, will be more hazardous than she ever imagined.

Being as a candidate for STAND herself, Hai was also on a very personal task... something she's afraid on whatever results lies on the other side.
