Wilbur was a hero, the second best hero to be exact. And it was his job to protect everyone that resided in his beloved city.
Everything was perfect for the hero, he had a lovely father and two brothers, he had his friends, and he even had a boyfriend who he loved more than life itself!
Wilbur loved his work to keep his city safe, but there was always someone trying to prevent that. Sometimes it was large villains who killed and killed, other times it was a simple thief.
Sometimes, it was a shapeshifting villain who liked scarring others and ruining lives. Sometimes it was a villain who helped unlock hidden powers yet was insane enough to fight in a burning, collapsing building.
Because that night, Wilbur fought alongside a way-too-young-and-way-too-familiar vigilante and his family against a famous villain with an ability so powerful it seemed fake.
The world was never have been ready for Shift in the first place, Shift was the villain who's identity was so secret no one had a single lead to go attempt to catch them.
In a forgotten world full of heroes, villains, and vigilantes, a world that had neither a good or bad ending, or maybe no ending at all. Who knows?
Their world could never have been ready for what was about to come.

(I guess?? Basically if Tommy never betrayed Technoblade. Basically inspired by a lot of stories similar to this. Anyway here's the actual description below ⬇️) Exile. One of the worst things that happened to Tommy and believe me, loads of bad things has happened to him. But being stuck in a single place, far away from his friends and family and with a blob that has taken two of his canon lives and who may have plans of his own, has to be up there in Tommy's list of Worse Things that Has Happened to Me. So he ran away. Whether he snuck into Technoblade's house was intentional or not is honestly up in the air to debate. But when it came to it, Tommy had two choices. To stay with his supposed elder brother who is not dead or go back to the people who turned their backs on him. He picked the first choice. Now Tommy has to live with the fact that he and Tubbo may not be able to repair their friendship and that the country that he helped build is basically f*cked! But that is not the end of the story. I was meant to write a story for English, so here it is! It is a Dream SMP story! Tommy meets many new friends who all have secrets. Some are Villains, some are Heros, and some a Vigilantes. But when his friends on one team finds out he's friends with the other two teams, what will happen? Author Note: As this was written 2 years ago for English class, the love for this story is crazy! Thank you! So, when I wrote this for school, we had 2 months to write all parts of a story. With a minimum of 1500. With a love to write, 8000+ with working whenever and wherever. I had so many more ideas I couldn't add. Now, I've lost interest in the DSMP, now more into Hermitcraft and Empires. Motivation has been basically a boomerang, tossing, losing, finding, repeat. A City of Secrets and Masks
About 97% of people manifest a power on their 15th birthday. Most go about their lives, using their power when it can help them day to day. Superheroes and supervillains are common occurrences these days. Usually, each city has about two or three heroes, one big villain, and many minor villains. The city of Illosia has about ten heroes and an ever-increasing villain problem. Sounds like a wonderful place for two more rising stars to jump in, right? Whoop this is gonna be a massive undertaking as I try and tell the interloping stories of the Dream Team, Skeppy and BBH, Sleepy Bois Inc, and Tommy and Tubbo. Light illuminated the dusty counter and unsettling puddle of pitch black liquid on the floor. He shivered, a rouge gust of wind seeping through the broken window. Grimacing at the sight, Tommy reluctantly stepped further in. Before having shivering cold hands being placed on his lower back. And being pushed into the sea of unknown substance. ------- Tommy was looking for his roommate yet luck wasn't upon him, and he somehow went from having healing powers to having wide spread wings, and different powers than before after falling into a puddle. Oh and he has black handprints on his back. That doesn't have anything to do with his sudden encounters of villains and superheroes.....Right? or After falling into a weird puddle, Tommy falls into the world of heros, vigilantes and villains as a mentally unprepared 17 year old child. ---- Heavily inspired by the song "Turn The Lights Off" by Tally Hall. Wilbur was tired of being a hero. He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn't enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family. Wilbur lived in Techno's shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn't sure how much more he could take. He wanted to be seen for who he was. He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else's story. Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis. A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival. His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain. He had met the hero once, and that was all it took. The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point. Wilbur Soot is a 20 year old scientist. A mad one, at that. Creating strange creatures and suspicious smelling liquids is all he does, aside from running away from heroes. Why he's half crazy isn't known, though. Wilbur is normal most of the time, but he sometimes just completely switches into a completely inferential person. Techno thinks it might be some trauma thing or that maybe Wilbur has some cognitive disorder or something. Speaking of Techno; Technoblade, or Techno, (who is also 20) is Wilbur's janitor/mechanic. Cleaning spilled radioactive fluids and Wilbur's assorted messes, and fixing broken tables and machines. This is his job, he does it every day without questions. He's aware of what Wilbur does, and that he's hiding from heroes and is considered a villain, but does he give a fuck? Not one. Techno wasn't always strong, but over the few years of breathing in toxic fumes, protecting himself from Wilbur's escaped experiments and putting them back where they belong, and helping Wilbur fight off heroes so he can keep his job and not be unemployed, he's gained some mass to his bones. Heroes think Techno is Wilbur's bodyguard or partner or something since he's always kicking the heroes butts, but really, Techno is just mad that they - for the third time in a month - blew a hole in his break-room after he had already mopped. ~~~ Story idea from @simpingboisinc on Twitter ~~~ Started: February 25, 2023 Finished: March 12, 2023Complete
