Ex-FBI agent Detective Morrison never expected to find himself in this situation. When he moved to the little Georgian town with his wife, he was hoping for a quiet life, a safe life. At least, a safer life than the one he led in Washington. All it took was a call from the sheriff on his day off to shatter that peace for good. Finding a little girl in a hidden room in an abandoned building tends to do that. Now, he has several mysteries to unravel, and he doesn't know if he'll be able to survive long enough to solve them. Assassins keep trying to kill him, a random teenager is stalking him, and the connection he shares with this little mystery girl is starting to freak him out. 

All he knows is that he has to fight. Fight to survive, protect his town, and most of all to save her.
