Mature
Every story has a beginning, and every character has a backstory, but have you ever thought about where these ideas come from, where the magic and imaginative worlds come from? There was once when all of these worlds were just plain fiction, yet now, they are here. The nine hundred ninety-ninth year is ending, since the merging of time and space, where something threw whole universes and timelines into chaos. There have been two major wars that have been documented, and no races and species have been Enslaved, Irradiated, or Massacred, and there has been no Genocide. However, mortal beings or "humans" are becoming rare because of our short life span, our bodies are weak compared to the "Immortals and Supernaturals," and our inane desire for prolonged youth and the ability never to die.

"I closed my eyes with a sigh. I could feel the darkness around me sucking me in deeper and deeper; suffocating me. I just want to end it all. All the voices, all the fear, all the rules. I want freedom. This can't be what my life is like. I need a change. I stood up from my place on my bed to move to my balcony. I could see the entire kingdom from here. But I knew I wasn't the one in charge. For some intolerable reason, I cannot rule over the world I've known for years. I grew up in the Kingdom of Alathia. I'm the princess for gods sake. But my father believes I am unfit to be a king since I am a women. So I have to marry. All my life he has told me what to do. Him and my mother!" Princess Maria is trapped in the destiny of being queen and being forced to marry a rising king whom she hates with every fiber of her being. She was taught to be the perfect wife was to be the perfect queen. Quiet. Submissive. Loyal. Innocent. While trying to accept her future, she is faced with unholy nightmares, a test of dignity, and a double life to have even the slightest chance of freedom. Would she be able to create her own destiny? Would she eventually have the freedom she longed for? Or would a thief ruin her chances completely by striking a deal and making her face a fate worst than the destiny she was born with? Disclaimer: this story is not edited. I apologize for the grammar errors and any confusion to the plot. This is rated mature for steamy scenes, mentions of rape, and emotionally/physically abuse. However, I do own all of the elements of this book and is copyrighted. Enjoy!
