This is a rewrite of a story on my page with the same name, I wrote it back in 2015 and gave up on it. But then decided to work on it again. So yeah, here we go. 

You had been bullied most of your high school life and finally had enough of it when you decided to let your guardian know and suggest you move. They ended up finding a job they could transfer to in a town called Sburb. That also happened to be the same town your internet friend lived, which meant you were finally going to get the chance to meet them after so many years. Will moving to Sburb be a good thing for you? Will you finally find friendship or something more?

Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. As he gets up to leave from the dock, he falls into the ocean, but then he's saved by some mystery person and when he finds out it was a merman who saved him, he becomes great friends with him and finds out that his name is Eridan. But then, Eridan's father disapproves of their friendship and does something horrible. Sollux then finds Eridan with tons of cuts and bruises all over him, on the beach and helps him out. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life. Which will he choose? ----------------------------------------- I do not own the characters. Also, this is an erisol fanfic, that's merstuck. I'm sorry if it's shitty, but hey at least I tried! You get admission in a special academy which is designed specifically for students from all races and species to come together and learn to be excellent citizens. There, you will meet very interesting characters.....!!!! Note: This is the first time I am writing and just decided to start something new for fun. Essentially, this is not completely my own concept, but a fanfic, so I would be using lot of characters from different animes, mangas, LN and other sources. So, all the images and characters belong to respective creators, however I may use some of my hand drawn sketches. I may also introduce some characters designed by me, but it depends on how the plot develops.
