What would you do if you got pregnant at 16 and were abandoned by everyone? Your family and the baby's father?
Well, that's what happened to Melissa Sweet. She got pregnant with her boyfriend of 3 years, and he told her to get an abortion, something she would never do. So he left and her family disowned her. She was alone with nowhere to go. Except for her aunt Ruth Westwood, she knew what Melissa was going through so she, offered to take care of her.
Ruth lives in Hawaii with her son Jeff Westwood, so that's where Melissa went so she could raise the baby. After what happened she told herself she would never love someone again.
