In the not so distant future the world has been divided. The elite rule from above in their gold clad palaces while the common folk are slowly replaced by machines made to do their jobs more effectively. The once benevolent empress has retreated into the palace and is barely heard from, so it comes as less than a shock the children have begun disappearing during the billing cycle each month.
It's assumed they're run-away's fleeing for a better life, but as Margaret soon discovers, there's al lot more at play in this shadowy world than what meets the eye.
WARNING!! I wrote this when I was 11 and it honestly sucks. I am uploading this purely for shits and giggles, but if the idea interests you and this gets any traction I may re-write it :))

However, the vaguely described backdrop said nothing about the conflicts building beyond the heroine's understanding, or that women weren't allowed on the battlefield. I am honestly left speechless. I am very touched and honored by all the attention, by all the sweet, beautiful and fun comments I've received over the last month, it's been truly amazing. This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
