Lily and James were a lost cause.
It wasn't an exaggeration, it was a cold fact. You could even ask Professor McGonagall. She would simply shake her head and walk away.
Lily Evans was a blooming flower. Her ethereal emerald eyes, her scarlet hair and her beautiful smile simply seemed to make James Potter's heart flutter. But she despised him to the maximum, for reasons he believed he could not be held accountable for.
Therefore, not only was James Potter a devastatingly handsome boy but he was also devastated from the lack of love she gave him.
But when a prideful boy is reduced to desperation, he immediately turns towards stupid and desperate measures.

Aura Speller was Lily Evans' best friend. Hence, she was greatly vexed when James Potter had presented a plan where she had to apparently fall in love with his best friend, Sirius Black. But Aura decided to go along with it, just because (according to her) Lily needed at least one date from a good-looking boy before she graduated.
But she'd never imagined to find some solace within Sirius' company. She'd never imagined she could fall for him, for he was just another boy in the world.
What happens when he could become more than just another boy to her? Would that mean that she could fall in love?
