He had been a soldier first, but never just a soldier. His battalion was his family, his men his brothers. He followed orders, trusted the Jedi who led them, fought for a cause he believed in. And then it was gone. The war had never been theirs to win. It had never been about victory.
THEIR paths should have ended there. But they didn't.
Because neither of them knew how to stop fighting. Because even in the wreckage, in the grief, in the weight of everything they had lost-they weren't finished yet.
