1 new part
After years of waiting, Andy Gatlin is ready to follow in his father's footsteps and become a superhero. His first day goes great at first, but then tragedy strikes when a veteran superhero, Spectramancer, loses control of his powers and goes on a rage fueled rampage. Not knowing what caused this well respected hero to go berserk, Andy tries everything he can to stop the other hero without hurting him. However, Spectramancer's rage brings him close to Andy's home, and Andy is forced to use his most powerful attack lest Spectramancer cause untold death and destruction. This move ultimately results in the veteran hero's death.

Andy is heartbroken by what he had to do, but his troubles aren't over. A hostile news media and an easily riled up public label this new superhero as a murderer before learning the whole story. Meanwhile, Andy learns that Spectramancer was investigating a tragic event. A few days ago, Redwell City was destroyed in a mysterious explosion, and one of the suspects deliberately triggered Spectramancer's rage to throw the veteran superhero off his scent.

Armed with his knowledge, Any vows to get to the bottom of what happened, learn why Spectramancer's rage was set off, and bring whoever destroyed Redwell City to justice. Andy will face supervillains, shadowy government agents, corporate spies, and angry news reporters in his quest to learn the truth and hopefully clear his name in the process. This is the story of a new superhero.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Our story begins on a autumn morning in Megadale, where the absence of DudePow, the city's famed hero, has left a noticeable void. With crime on the rise, the city is in need of a savior. Meanwhile, Gal Monroe and her family settle into their new home, once belonging to her late great uncle, Angus. As her and her twin brother Kelli explore the basement, they stumble upon a surprising secret: Angus Monroe was none other than the incredible superhero, DudePow. Intrigued by this revelation, Gal tries on Angus's ring, hoping to uncover its powers. To her surprise, she finds herself engulfed in a blue aura, inheriting the abilities of DudePow. Now "cursed" with unexpected strength, Gal must navigate her newfound powers while living in a world dominated by men, determined to carry on her great uncle's legacy and bring justice to Megadale. hi! little explanation here: this is an adaptation of one of my favorite fever dream memory: Shezow! i wrote the story but with a new perspective, Gal's point of view. i always thought about her as i watched the original show: what does she likes? how is she? what are her weaknesses? is she confident? (absolutely not!) and i seriously had a reflexion and a whole analysis over a character that doesn't even have two episode in the original show!!!! IM THAT OBSESSED! So be ready to enter the world of a 14 yo girl dealing with all the problems of her kind. Enjoy :) My story was inspired by the original show (Duh!), but but also inspired by other writers: EugeneMinev on Deviantart and HalfandHalfStoriesAndStuff on ao3 :) I helped myself with the universe of KickAss and ScottPilgrim because I always thought Shezow would suit these universes. Disclaimer: English isn't my first language so excuse me if i make mistakes ^^'

He feels guilty whenever he sees the hurt on Scott's face and he knows, he's thinking of Allison. They say none of it was his fault, but Stiles can see the truth in their eyes. They blame him almost as much as he blames himself. It's tearing him apart and every minute longer in that godforsaken town weighs heavier on his heart. Come the next pack meeting and he knows, he is done. Deciding that Jackson had the right idea in going as far away as possible, he packs his things and moves to a cute little apartment in Starling City. It's not a carefree town by any meens, but here, an entirely different group of people is there to protect the town. For once, it's not Stiles' job to save anyone and at last he can breathe again. That is until a mysterious force starts to bubble up inside him and he finds himself confronted with a whole new understanding of himself. One attack on his life later and he finds himself face to face with blue eyes that he never thought he'd see again. Of course he would never admit that even covered by a mask, only the eyes visible, Stiles would know that face anywhere. Hello, pups. This story won't actually have a big bad. It's mostly fluff and relationships. The focus is solely on Stackson and their evolution. Of course there will be some fighting, considering we're following a group of vigilantes. Other than that we mostly have some emotional conflict. I hope you enjoy :) G'night, pups.

"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. But most of us are Heroes at Heart. (Based on a writing prompt / story request by tumblr user "fallingivy")
