Finn and Brie ended up being the best of friends in the most unlikely place, a foster house. Both being sent there when they were a few months old, they literally spent all their childhood together. But as they got to an age where they started having feelings for each other, things start to get difficult. Finn ends up getting adopted by a couple, who lives halfway across the country and leaves Brie all by herself.

After wasting 18 years of her life in the orphanage, Brie finally came to the age where she is able to fend for herself and gets gracefully kicked out. Homeless and cold, she buys a one-way train ticket to Florida to get a new start in life.

As secrets start to unravel, she meets people she never thought existed and finds a familiar face she was hoping to see again.
