Many moons ago, war tore through the five clans. Peace was broken and only a few cats made it out alive. They journeyed far away for a fresh start and created BerryClan, but soon enough, peace was broken once again. Chatter of the clans rising up again begins to circulate, and it's up to a group of BerryClan apprentices to ensure that history does not repeat itself.

The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders.
