It was the same way that they treated her, deciding the person she was going to grow up to be before she had a chance to find out for herself. They expected the worst out of her from the moment they met her, just like her Father. She didn't want to be treated this way. So, with the full support of Bigby, she moved to Racoon City when she turned Eighteen, and become a Private Investigator. At least there, people wanted her help. However, her happy little life gets turned on its head, when she is approached by Investigative Journalist Ben Bertolucci. He offers her a big paycheck in exchange for an investigation into the Umbrella Corporation. She accepts, not knowing the horrors she will uncover in the secrets buried deep in the pharmaceutical company. Is it truly trying to better the lives of humanity?
