Jay is a prince cursed when he was a child by a jealous witch which turned his heart to stone his family pushes him to get married, although he has no interest until he meets Alys, a quick witted and confident girl who he thinks may break his curse, but unknown to him Alys has a secret of her own. 
As the two get closer, the sun melts the only way to save the kingdom is to break Jay's curse and face the witch who cursed him can Jay and Alys save Latria despite the secrets in between them and can Jay face the truth of the witch who cursed him.
