This story and au is we're Edd and his friends in there teen years get sent to a camp. This camp was to get rid of any sort of happiness. They would force the kids to do school work and chores to brainwash them to get rid anything that was childish.
The story begins with Tord in his adult years he lives in a shity one bedroom apartment but that all changes when he has to challenge the hardest thing. Which is talking about what happened that had cause them all to split.
