Blood lives in a dark place, far from any Warrior Clans, with his mother, Shred; his father, Gash; and his sister, Night. When a storm comes, Blood is separated from his family, and must venture out to find cats suitable to his bloodthirsty, evil nature. However, the fact that he's merely four moons old complicates his travels. Will he ever find cats like himself? How will he manage alone? And what awaits him if he achieves his goal?
