Hush in the Storm

Jen,widowed at 31, is jostled in the storm swells of grief. She is kidnapped by a
coworker named Tom who says it was her late husband, Robert's, final request to
fake her death and hide her in a dark basement so she would not end up as
Robert did—smashed between twists of metal on the highway.

Together, Jen and Tom are thrust into a tempest of danger and deceit where no one is whom they
claim to be. The list of people Jen can believe keeps diminishing. Who can she
trust while dodging the Feds, human traffickers, and the press who've discovered
she's alive?

How will Jen rescue two held-captive girls she befriends without drowning them, Tom,
and herself in the waves of betrayal, especially when she suspects her husband
may not be as dead as everyone thinks?
