What he had with his two best friends was a stupid argument, really. Dream was aware of it and would have kept thinking about it, even as his feet began to move in a random direction. He just wanted to get away from the judgmental, but never negative, views of George and Sapnap.
He still needed to assimilate what happened; he didn't even know what he felt, let alone put it into words.

Resurrection (A DNF Story)
Members of the DreamSMP are over at Dream's place when Sapnap and a few others begin to cross the line with Dreamnotfound jokes. Eventually, Dream has had enough of George being uncomfortable because of the sexual jokes and decides to knock some sense into Sapnap. The fight gets heated and Dream throws a punch at Sapnap, but misses. As your originally small YouTube channel begins to grow, you slowly start to befriend popular YouTubers. But the one that sticks out the most is a friend request from DreamWasTaken. At first, you find Dream irritable and stubborn, and he doesn't think too differently about you. But as your friendship with him blossoms, you find out there is a lot more to him than he lets on. Dream doesn't expect anything weird after one strange text while he's editing his video. He sees it as a funny joke and ignores it, continuing with his daily life as he realises this is way more serious than it seemed... When it goes further and further, Dream doesn't feel safe anymore and he definitely doesn't know who he can still trust.
