Many have heard of the rumors lying within the walls of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but what happened? What happened after the Bite of '83? What's inside the box? What happens to Afton while he's in purgatory?
Set in 1983, young Mike made a mistake that would haunt the rest of his life. How does one cope with the loss of a younger sibling, especially if it was your fault?

I know this is a HUGE turn off for some of you readers, but there is NO ships in this story and there will probably be ZERO romance in it either. I want it to be as accurate to the lore as possible!!
Please take in mind that this is my first wattpad story. I wanted to share this with others.
Please give constructive criticism(but still be nice!). I'm still practicing on being more descriptive.

*I spent a long time binge watching all 72 (and counting!) of Game Theory's FNAF videos trying to make this story as accurate to the 'probable' lore of the games and books as possible!*

Michael Afton's life has been a complete mess since that fateful day in 1983. He hasn't been able to find a stable job, hasn't been able to make any friends, and worse of all, hasn't gained any respect from his father, who now hates him and wants for him to disappear from his life. (I wasn't even a man then!....just bear with me here.) ~~~ Mike Schmidt, a middle-aged man with memory loss issues, is taking a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza with his adopted daughter, Jenson. However, both learn much more about the place-and themselves- than they've ever known... dark and dangerous secrets lie below and they regret finding them, though it was for the better of some new friends. Basically exactly what the title says, a story about the reader (that's you!) falling in love with the best purple guy out there (he's not purple in this fic don't worry). This fic should be gender neutral (bc everyone loves Micheal!), however I am a female writer so the ocassional female description might accidently slip in (i'm a student with very little time and no patience to correct mistakes so I also apologise for those). Afton Robotics LLC; voted America's most reliable tech company since 1983, is known mainly for making animatronics for a pizzeria chain owned by Fazbear Entertainment. In fact, Mr. Afton is the co-owner of the local Fazbears Pizzeria. Y/N's parents assist in supplying Afton Robotics with minor technical supplies, when Afton finds out that the L/N's have potential in building his new line of animatronics he promotes them to executive technicians. However, this came with a small catch, they needed to move to the same state as Afton to work in his shop. Y/N L/N, caught up in the middle of her parent's careers, doesn't like this idea. She didn't want to leave her friends, childhood home, etc. But that's not the only con of moving... William Aftons son, Michael. The typical "teenage dirtbag", he and his gang of friends are known to be trouble. After moving into her new home, Y/N thinks that things couldn't get worse; she was in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. She soon finds out the Aftons live in her neighborhood, they actually live right across from her, Michael Afton was going to be her neighbor. Immediately Michael was a jerk to her, as she expected.
