This story takes place at the end of season one episode seven of Smiling Friends, but there's a twist.
Instead of Pim standing up to Grim and Gnarly Charlie steps in... but it doesn't go according to plan. Charlie gets himself in trouble with the Frowning friends and is giving a task to take down Smiling Friends, Grim and Gnarly give him a partner to make sure Charlie doesn't turn against them, but the doesn't really work...
This story was inspired by @broken.juul.pod on TikTok go look at their art it's fuking awesome.

After the departure of the three siblings, the Smiling Critters find themselves involved in a dangerous adventure outside of PlayCare; threatened by the Rejected Critters, who seem to want to finish them off and take over the leadership of the group. Despite the plans, something seems to be wrong with the Smiling Critters; The group is greatly weakened and they do not seem to understand each other. Different problems are making their bonds weaker, almost breaking apart. Will they put their grudges aside and end up defeating the Rejected Critters? Or one misstep may lead to their downfall? This is a stand alone book but also can be read after The Curse Of Fantasy. (Also a cute book if I do say so myself!) These are the same characters and sort of a continuation of the first book but this story is about Manny and Chuck, Simon's friends. I had no intention of writing this book but it sort of happened. Manny quickly became one of my favorite characters who didn't get enough page time and I wanted to see what would happen if I kept writing about him. I wanted to watch him grow with Chuck.
