'Twisted, all their lives were twisted into a knot that would take forever to untie, but here they had each other's back. Here, they found comfort & warmth in each other's presence. Here, in this house lives a small group of friends, different from each other in every ways, each one of them has dark histories of their own, but they make each other smile & forget their pain when they're together. Sometimes they're called 'a bunch of weirdos', but there's beauty in their weirdness'. She wrote down those words in her diary, with a smile on her face. 'Happiness doesn't come from having no trials in your life, it comes from having people by your side while you fight all those trials & come out as a brave warrior'.
She placed her book on the bedside table & stared at the beautiful night sky through her window. And she had known that finally, this is where she belonged, in this small group of friends.
"Still awake?" the brunette opened the door with a concerned face. "Not sleepy Tia, what about you?"
"I just woke up & thought I should check on you"
"Is everything okay Rave?"She sat beside her bestie.
"I'm okay Tia, I slept all day remember?"
"Yes you did but-"
"No buts, just get to bed Tia, I'll get to sleep if that makes you happy" "It sure does sis, goodnight gurl"
"Goodnight Tiana".

Book 1 of the "Used to Be" Series Scarlett Fisher: the school's resident mean girl. Beautiful, smart (but doesn't let people know), charismatic, confident (or at least that's what everyone thinks.) The truth is, she's scared, Scared that one day people will see past her smile and charm, and see the person she really is on the inside. Scared that someone will remember who she used to be. ~•~ Now I know I seem like a bitch, and your probably thinking I'm your stereotypical mean girl, but I wasn't always like this, back when high school first started. I had a best friend who I thought I would be friends with forever. I was shy and timid, and I was foolish enough to believe what people told me. Back then everyone knew me as Arora. After the incident I decided to stop going by my first name, I had also learned that being mean, and not taking anything form anyone was the only way to get people to treat you with respect. ~•~ Arora Fisher: the girl most people didn't notice until they needed help with homework, the girl who was voted most likely to disappear and no one would notice. The girl who her believed in the good in others, who wanted to just give people a chance, no matter how many red flags. The girl who was lost to tragedy. ~•~ "We'll be broken together." He try's to smile, but he can't manage it and I nod, knowing how much pain he feels. "We'll be broken together." I whisper, after that we sit there, in an empty silence, neither of us wanting to be the first one to speak again, because it feels off, like the sound of our own voices might somehow break our hearts more.

"Please," I heard the boy say softly, interrupting my thoughts, but I didn't dare move closer to him. "Just let me explain." He pleaded me to stay with him. "Wh-what, how?" I stared at him in awe. That can't be true. I must be hallucinating because a wolf cannot turn to a human. "Please, just don't freak out or scream. I'll explain everything if you give me a chance. I'm injured, so I can't run after you," He said then stared at my bleeding shoulder and gave me an apologetic, hurt-filled look, "You're injured as well, just let us both have a talk. Please." I had the urge to listen to him. The way his eyes looked at me was enough, but I was actually excited to know what just happened as well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "M-me?" I asked pointing my finger to my chest. "Do you see anyone else around as beautiful and breathtaking as you are?" He asked me not failing to make me blush. I could tell he saw my pink cheeks because he put his hand on my cheek sending sparks down my spine. "Wait, one more thing before you leave," he said scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "I, soon to be Alpha, Blake Hunter, accept you, Jasmine Thomas, as my mate and future Luna of Midnight Stone Pack." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jasmine Thomas is an athletic, hot, and sarcastic human with a handsome boyfriend. You can say a perfect girl with a picture perfect life. Little did she know that her life will change when she stumbles upon a huge black wolf. Blake Hunter is a 21 year-old Alpha. Burning Bridges

31 parts Complete

Raven has worked for years on becoming the best of the best with The Snakes gang ever since she realized life doesn't give equal opportunities. But when it comes to the real test of loyalty, her world turns upside down when she learns a whole new meaning of that word. Tears will be shed, kisses will be shared, blood will be spilled, but her boiling anger will shine the brightest on her endeavor of befriending the enemy and burning the bridges that she has crossed in the past. *** He kept a neutral face, but his eyes said it all. They made me want to apologize and fix the mess I made because they looked just so...abandoned. Lost, like he doesn't know what to do with his life anymore. That sent another anxious feeling to my gut. Did I look the same? Did we both look lost? I was never found to begin with. All I could focus on was the emotion in his eyes. That deep shade of blue caressed by betrayal. That longing from before was gone because he was stuck, just like I always was. *** I should have known that this endeavor wasn't going to end so easily. Because I haven't died yet. And the villain always dies at the end of the story. *** Dreams don't come true because they're not reality. They're an alternate future where anything is possible. But that's not LA. A bright and crowded city with layers of sin and darkness underneath it, ready to prey on its most naive victims. I should know because I was one of them. ***
