Two twins one fire nation one southern water tribe separated due to their differences and the separation of nations.
Adeen was born with the ability to bend fire. She is taken away by Prince Zuko when he arrives at the Southern water tribe during his search for the avatar. Prince Zuko insists that Adeen should be with her own kind.
Amaya was born known for her unique ability to bend water when water benders were extinct in the Southern Water Tribe. She trained secretly with the help of a young water bender named Katara. She joins team avatar to fight and take her sister back

Avatar: the Last Airbender Fanfiction Zuko x OC Makki is the twin sister of Sokka and the older sister of Katara. She is one of the last Southern water benders, along with her sister. At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh.
