I close my eyes and plug my headphones in as The 1975 wraps me up and drifts me away from here, taking me to city life. To freedom and to expression. To what I want most. But it's over before it starts as I open my eyes and look at my surroundings. I lay on my back with only my mattress between the floor and myself. My room is an absolute and utter disaster around me and I'm too lazy to do something about it. There are dried tears in my eyes and empty promises on my lips. I sigh as I continue to ignore the messages continuing to make my phone buzz and play the next song, letting my thoughts carry me away.

You Were Always a Daydreamer Draft Version
When you're forced to mask Reality with Fantasy. The lifted layers finally unveil the tombstone of self. The biggest cities into the tiniest pebbles The massive ideas and thoughts formed into merely something to fear. A protagonist who already forgot his name Remembers He is a Daydreamer. Which is the only way to cope with life after multiple tragedies. And the fraud on fake friends faces. Only to daydream. As losing touch takes a toll on that rotting indulgence slowly. This get's quite horrific as it goes on. It's not to enjoy but to reflect on and experience. I decided to publish the draft version, because I don't think I can fully finish YWAADD final edition any time soon. I am in the worst mental and emotional state ever. It's quite a struggle and I suffer heavily. So yeah, the polished draft kind of holds up aswell too. The final one is way longer and eventful. So, um yeah I don't expect this to get attention at all, it's kind of really mid in some parts. But enjoy, or don't I guess. Yes this was inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time. "Go to sleep already. Good night, I love you," my mom said while closing the door of my room. Damn. It's one of those nights again, huh. Tch. I twisted an turned on my bed. Can't seem to find a good spot again. *sigh* I gave up and just stared at the ceiling. I got my cellphone from under my pillow and scrolled through instagram and hoped that it would make me somewhat sleepier. Blah blah blah this. Blah blah blah that. Damn, can't get sleep whatsoever. I don't want to do this but this leaves me no choice. "(Hey B, are you there?)" I spoke inside my mind. "(About damn time you gave up~ haha~ can't sleep, princess?)" the voice replied back. I start to laugh. ******** My mom had died. My dad is an alcoholic that doesn't care about me. I have three best friends. One new friend (Who's a bartender/stripper/lesbian). A great job as a DJ at this amazing club. And a whole new idea to get away from my dad and stop holding on to the past. ********** "It called and emancipation," she said through the phone, laughing, knowing that I was anxious.
