That was just some of the many things Ruby's mother, Amethyst had told her. The forest that stood outside their home had always given off this... feeling of magic, mystery and a little bit of teen curiosity. The more her mother said no, the more Ruby inched closer to the Forest. The energy the forest gave off to Ruby, had seemed Familiar. So while her mother was in town, Ruby had decided to do exactly what she was banned from doing and ventured into the forest. Little did she know, Ruby had just left her old life behind, discovered hidden and dark secrets and unbearable truths.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
