Winter of the Morrígan

The Morrígna are otherworldly ladies who have walked among mundanes for centuries. Their influence over humanity is present even in the 21st Century.

Where did these goddesses come from? That is a secret lost to time, interwoven in various faerie myths.

The short answer is that these sisters came from angels. They are ancient and carved out their domain in a realm not far from the one humans call home.

One of the sisters took up permanent residence in this frozen hell and her two descendents were born there.

But they did not stay in Faerie forever.

Luci Rosewater is a half-breed. A daughter of a nephilim and the fallen Unseelie Queen. It isn't uncommon for a Morrígan to live as a warrior, but she is the first Morrígan connected to Shadowhunters rather than just angels and demons.
