I look around frozen in place paws dug in the ground I sniff around trying to find out where the presence may be. A sway from the bushes breaks the silence and I dart the other way. Not known of the exact location I'm at I try to look for a place to hide. Feeling as if the presence is getting closer I try my hardest to run faster weaving in and out of the trees and shrubs. A huge tree that had fallen over is coming up so I leap over it only to be snatched back down and pinned to the ground. A big strong force on my back feeling the claws pinching at the skin, lightning shocks shoot though my whole body causing me to shiver. They have thick claws knit in with my skin not so much to make it hurt but enough to show that if I even tried anything stupid I'd be a dead wolf. I turn my head to the side to look up and see a very large muscular black wolf. Fur glistening as the rain droplets fall from the sky and run off. He gives a very direct stare with those vibrant reds as if he's pulling the soul out of me through my eyes making it feel as it's been hours looking at him. My mate. A twig snaps to right about 100 feet away and he takes off leaving me there on the ground his scent still very dominant in my nose. "Yara? What the hell are you doing out here!"

I struggled and lashed out at him hoping to cause some, any damage at all that might allow me to escape, instead his grip tightened and a whimper escaped without my consent. His touch burned, or at least I imagined it burning, sizzling my skin until it was burnt to a crisp. He clawed down the back of my dress, shredding the lace fabric to bits as if it was paper, it floated to the ground like confetti, I looked at it in disgust, as if it was celebrating my exposure. The cold air of the store room nipped at my bare back, contrasting between the burning fire his touch inflicted. I felt sick. He was now shoving himself closer to me until it was impossible for me to move. I could hardly even breath. I was seeing red and I couldn't even do anything. I felt so helpless. Tears welled up in my eyes and they threatened to spill. I shut them tight wishing I had just stayed at home. Suddenly the pressure released. I could breath. Once again I was shocked and didn't know what was happening until I opened my eyes and saw the rogue getting up and looking to my right. I hadn't even noticed the large figure standing protectively next to me and so I was staggering away from him too. Power radiated from him making me feel safe and scared at the same time.
