Twelve-year-old boarding school student Ignatia is about to be kicked out of Grace Falls Academy for good, thanks to the unpredictable outbursts of her ghostly powers. (Thanks for nothing, ghostly powers!)

Attending the yearly Halloween party doesn't help much, either - sure, being attacked by a rampaging spirit sounds kinda cool in theory, but when her babysitter turns into a kid-eating green witch just because Ignatia reads a mysterious letter someone left in her locker, it gets pretty annoying. When precisely that letter, however, sheds entirely new light on the unusual circumstances of her parents' deaths, Ignatia can't resist following a dangerous trail of polaroid pictures left by her mother and father, deep into a hidden world of moonlight and whispers.

Side by side with her nerdy best friend Victoria and the secretive alchemist Layton, Ignatia soon discovers that her destiny is intimately intertwined with the legendary picture of Dorian Gray ... and that she and her friends aren't the only ones hunting down the precious artifact.

It doesn't matter to anyone else that he'd never even met his parents and was brought up alongside his cousin Draco Malfoy. In everyone's eyes, Mattheo is destined to become just like his father, everyone's eyes, but Nova's. She can see something in the boy that he can't even see himself. - So this fic while centering around the golden trio era-and snippets of the Slytherin boys with my own twist on them ofc-is just as much a Marauders fic too. ✨
