─ in a world separated by "hunter" and "hunted" to deal with overpopulation, everyone gets a tattoo on their neck on their eighteenth birthday. Indented on their skin forever, if their name is written in red, they're the hunters. If their name is written in blue, they're the hunted. Hunters have one task: kill as many hunted to earn a great sum of money, provided by the government.
Hunter and Harry have been best friends forever. On the verge of finishing high school, these two celebrate their birthdays on the same day...their eighteenth to be exact. What comes after that is the ultimate test for friendship, romance, and life in general.
Maybe even death too.
