"I can't believe you're actually making me go to school?" Angie practically scoffed, sitting on the passenger seat of Derek's car with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Angie... You need to go to school." Derek argued for what felt like the hundredth time. "Looking for Erica and Boyd with me or not, you're still a teenager."

"But it's not just Boyd and Erica anymore now, though, right?" She asked. "I mean... Isaac has been MIA since last night too."

"Yeah, he has." Derek nodded, albeit a bit begrudgingly, not really wanting to admit that all of his pack was now in danger. "But I'll keep looking for him while you're in school."

"How am I supposed to even pay attention to school when pretty much everyone I care about is missing?" Angie demanded, as Derek shrugged.

"Try it." He said. "You promised your uncle you wouldn't be skipping school even if Erica and Boyd were still missing, right?"

"Well, yes, but when I did that, I thought we'd have found the two of them already."

"We didn't, though."
