After witnessing in what happened at the Temple of Sinnoh you immediately ran away from the area after a very difficult battle with Volo. Fearing for your life you told Professor Laventon about it which Laventon informed the Commander and Captain of what had occured. Which lead to Volo being banished from not only the Jubilife Village but from both Diamond and Pearl Clan settlements from causing any harm ever again.
Or so everyone thought thinking that getting rid of the former merchant was enough to prevent him from doing in what he could've done before he revealed his true self. They made a big mistake in letting him flee outside in hopes nature would do it's course to him. If Volo manage to cause the time-space rift and control Giratina then there is no doubt he would make his next move. After his battle with you his mind was already set of another goal and he promised himself that this time he will succeed.

Ash's Special Pokémon Life
After failing to win in the Kalos pokemon league almost all of Ash's friends and even his own mother betrayed him and when he went to Professor Oaks lab to get his Pokemon he found out that almost all of them betrayed him as well even the newly caught friends from Kalos. Before Ash has a chance to leave though the traitors decided that they would end Ash so they ordered every Pokémon to attack Ash. Meanwhile in the Hall of Origin Arceus called a meeting to see how Ash was doing and when they saw him in critical condition. Arceus has Hoopa bring them to the hall of origin to save them. However the damage had already been done. Ash was barely alive and seeing him like this made everyone upset, one more than the others. He was always protective of you because just like his father, your father left you as a child and you had never met or seen any pictures of him. When you started you were a little late and all professor Oak had was a small eevee, he explained no one wanted her because she was to small but you didn't care. You and Ash may be similar as to personality but when it comes to opinions and pokemon types you were opposites. You both had always protected each other even if it meant some small cuts and bruises but never anything severe. After your 7th birthday you had to live with Ash and your Aunt Delia for a few years because your mother was on a business trip in Sinnoh but when Ash left your mother came back with a pokemon for you as a present. When Ash was in Kalos you were in Unova where you played your guitar and sang since you've had a knack for that. Everyday you always went into the middle of town where there was a crowd of people was and brought your guitar to play and sing just for fun. One day Ash decides to call home to learn you, his sister or rather his younger cousin already started her journey in Unova where he decides to visit you and introduce you to his Kalos friends.
