I woke up to panic from the streets. The news said it was the end of humanity, but I refuse to believe that. Surely there would be some survivors, and I was determined to be one of them...
Amelia was determined to be a survivor, but now she's determined to die. She basically grew up alone in the apocalypse. Her family is dead. Her group treats her like crap.
And one day, she almost did it. She almost got her wish. That is, until, a boy her age saves her. And someone she thought was gone forever...came back.
**I wrote this a long time ago and am just now looking back and realizing how problematic this was. This has possible triggers in it, so please, please, please hear me out: If you are triggered by mentions of suicide, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS.
