Audry Williams lives on a secluded island off the coast of Miami. when she was eleven a boy her age came to the island for the summer. they became friends and spent the entire summer together if you saw one of them alone the other would pop out of nowhere. when the end of summer break came Michael made a promise that he would come again next year. Andrea waited and waited. She was sixteen when her mother went with her to the airport and told her he probably wouldn't come back but as summer break rolled around she heard a voice she was convinced forgot about her and the island.
