Honestly, I'm not too sure where this is going, but the following chapters are going to be mostly fictional and *for the most part* set in the past (hint: time travel???). Mystery, murder, adventure and even romance may very well be prominent settings.

[EDIT:] No way, there are like 3-4 other "The Chimney Sweeper" titled works here. What a bunch of copycats.

[EDIT:2] Made some changes to Prologue (previously Chapter 1). They might seem small at first, but they are quite crucial with the development of the plot in mind.
-Some small but crucial changes to the way Reynolds's experiences in the city are described.

"We're just saying that it would be in your best interest, along with ours if you joined us." shrugged Lucas. "You can't prove anything," she bluffed. A devious smile speared across Cole's face while Lucas grinned wickedly, "Oh, we both know you don't believe that." ------------------- The events and places are completely fictional along with the characters. We're Still Alive(Book1)BEING REWRITTEN by alizardbreath

This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.

Just leave her be. I'll meet you wherever you want. Take me, please, just leave her out of this." I hear Jasmen crying. "See, but where would all the fun be in that? I could smack you around, take away your fancy cars, and you'd be fine. But if I do this-" I hear Jasmen screaming again. What the hell was he doing to her? I swore the minute I got the chance too, I was going to kill him. "No, please stop! For fuck sake, please!!" I felt helpless. I was letting her down in the biggest way. "See what I mean. This beautiful doll is your Achilles heel man. And you won't like it, she won't like it, but I am going to enjoy this next part." Having uprooted her entire life for love, Jasmen finds herself stuck in London with Heartbreak and penniless. She soon finds a job at a big company and falls for CEO, Lucas Bowers. After a whirlwind romance, the shades are pulled from her eyes. Can this new, awakening relationship survive Lucas past? Or will one or both lose their lives because of his lies and deceit?
