The mysterious town of Gravity Falls holds a secret.
Dipper Pines has the perfect life ahead of him; a definite job as an author, debts paid off, you name it. But when Mabel drags her brother to Gravity Falls for their 21st birthday, strange things begin to happen. Dipper finds Journal 3, and something resurfaces from the past; memories he can't completely recall.
At first, Dipper passes everything off as his imagination. But when nightmares and a semi-familiar character begin to invade his life, Dipper starts to investigate. During his prolonged stay in Gravity Falls, Dipper falls in love, deciphers his past, and suffers betrayal of the worst kind. Desperate to uncover the secrets laid plainly out before him, Dipper digs deeper.
