Kiya. A unique name for a very unique human being. She lived most of her life on a low note but that all changed once her mother passed on.
Wanting something to keep her emotions at bay she finds herself a group of friends. She depended on them from then on for everything, advice, opinions and love. With time the group of friends grew into mature girls, girls with bad habits. Kiya herself could be classified as a bad influence at the time catching on to some addictions here and there.
Growing tired of the bad habits, her grandmother, Rosemary, decided it was time for Kiya to take a vacation. Or was she just moving for good?
To a little under developed town called Herneston with no proper cell service or the beautiful things the city of Berkley held. Moving in with the brother she barely knew and the rest of his family including a spiteful sister in law.

I was slipping in and out of consciousness, I could hear my heart thumping slowly now.
"Aunt Ki," I could hear a voice calling out to me.
A tear slipped out of my eye. I had no idea what I had signed up for.
I was trying not to close my eyes but I couldn't hold on much longer, I was scared at this point but I couldn't scream through the pain. Soon everything went black with I could hear the screams.
