Just another short story!

This story is written from the point of view of an INR 500Rs. note in India. The newly manufactured 500Rs. note travels from person to person as it discovers more about life and its hardships.

Many of us already know about the demonetization policy enforced by the Indian Government in 2016.

For those who are unaware, the Demonetization act was enforced to ensure that black money in India would be reduced to a greater extent (tho, i believe that it didn't really make a difference and instead the economy dropped). In this policy, old notes of 500 and 1000 were exchanged for new and modified once.

Let's run through the life of this one particular note and try guessing what happened to it after demonetisation?

Did it die a gruesome death? or did things turn around to pave a new way for the note?
