He had alerted his father who was adventuring with his older brother somewhere far up north, who would make their way down to L'manburg to help Tommy with the process of gaining his new wings and imprinting. Punz who had been sent to spy on L'manburg overheard the news and quickly reported to Dream, who quickly ordered him to retrieve the boy... and retrieve him he did.
