War never changes, but the people who fight them do. With war between factions on the horizon everyone is worried about what it might mean for the shipgirls, however a recent advancement has the potential to quite literally flip the entire table on who has what, the ability to force a faction allegiance change
My first story so this might turn into a *little* bit of a dumpster fire, anyways enjoy!
I've had this idea of what would things be like if say, Bismarck sunk Hood and Ironblood ran off with the body to revive and turn her, how would the rest Royal Navy react to the "Pride of the Fleet" suddenly firing at them with no qualms with her new friends. Now imagine that on a global stage. XD

You were sure that you had simply gone to bed as per usual and yet here you are, far from home, met with the sight of a calm, serene sea. In the bay, warships and carriers dock and refuel, planes rumble overhead as they aim for a landing at the airstrip on the far side of the island, and, further inland, a town bustles with life. You are in a war consuming the world, perpetuated by an enemy shrouded in obscurity. The war is easy, in the beginning. It is almost like a game. There is good and evil. Us versus them. All you have to do is give the orders and watch your sailors take care of the rest. War, however, is never so simple, never so easy. Every horrific event one witnesses... every dance with Death one manages to step away from claws itself into the mind, creating thoughts that make the moments between thundering cannon-fire and wailing dive bombers all the more frightful. Moments like these are the worst part of the fighting. Any man's courage will break under the glaring black eyes of enemy cannons ready to let loose a few thousand pounds of compact death unto them. All the while, the slab of metal that will pound you into fleshy nothing may have already begun its course.... P.S. The story will mostly be sticking to SR and UR ships with the exception of some other ones. There are simply too many to include so it needs to be limited in some sort of fashion. I should also mention that not every girl who appears in the story will be a part of the harem. Some are there to give the setting more life, if that makes sense. Another thing: it will be in first person. That is simply my preference when it comes to writing as I enjoy working with the limited first person POV

The 4 major factions Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Sakura Empire, and Ironblood stood with each other to defend humanity but now it seems humanity and sirens have started to work with each other to dominate earth. My first fanction in my Wattpad profile about Azur Lane... ...and it all starts in June 1942, when the Azur Lane's massive fleet is setting out in a decisive naval battle against the combined Sakura Empire and the Siren fleet; hellbent on trying to take the atoll of Midway, until they are caught in the Mirror Sea cast by Akagi. But during battle, an unknown mysterious figure suddenly caused things to go badly awry, and their dimension becomes extremely unstable... Sometime later.. one of these shipgirls, named USS Enterprise (Yorktown-class CV-6)... ends up in a very different place... The world that she sees is very different to her own, a different universe that takes place in the time when World War II have long been ended, and both factions; Eagle Union and Sakura Empire (or in this real-world version; United States and Japan) are now close allies... The world is at war,the race known as the sirens have come from the unknown and have destroyed cities and killed many people,to counter such a threat,humanity created Azur Lane,an organization made of old warships from the past war,the ships were remade into shipgirls thanks to the new found object,known as the wisdom cube,the very foundation of the shipgirls,the siren threat was lessend with the efforts of Azur Lane as they restored peace as human could sail through the oceans again But as everyone said war never changes With the somewhat lack of siren activity,Azur Lane had lost a common enemy as it turned on itself,the 4 major factions of Azur Lane were split into 2 sides,Eagle Union and Royal Navy against Sakura Empire and Iron Blood,both side fought each other as the sirens remained on the sidelines and observed,little did any of them know,the people of Sakura Empire would find a blueprint of an old ship,that would turn the tide of the war and would restore peace to the factions

The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. This lead to the creation of several ships, one of them being the UNSC S/N. A Paris class heavy frigate, he along with the battle group he was apart of were out fighting the covenant who had also found a similar artifact, had been using sanghili ships to fight the UNSC. During one of these conflicts S/N was forced to make a jump with a damaged Slipspace drive, the result was that him and one of the covenants corvettes were pulled into a portal.
