Coming from a family of inventors who supported the war effort, Rose always felt overshadowed by their achievements. Desperate to make her own mark, she seized the opportunity to join the army when Steve was recruited.
After Steve crashed the plane, Rose was recruited into the SSR. Her technical expertise and strategic mind made her an invaluable asset. She got along with everyone there very well, except Peggy Carter.
Peggy is still heartbroken over Steve's death, and she blames it all on Rose.
