Athena, a simple fire type who lived a not so simple life, was a first-hand witness to an apocalypse of 'ghoul' pokémon. Ghouls were vicious, and did everything they could to rid the world of the impure- even if it meant harming those they cared about. With disaster inching toward the tropical region of Hoenn, Athena had to find a way to do what was right, all while adapting to the harsh reality of the wild.
