Beverly Lucas was just an ordinary 14 year old girl; living life, going through high school. She didn't have the dream life but she knew she had a lot more than others. Even though she was living amidst the hustle and bustle of busy Brisbane, with her mum and younger sister Anna she always liked time to herself. Of course between, basketball, swimming, tennis and babysitting. Beverly's life was good until her mum decides to do something unexpected, her boyfriend leaves; and everything and everyone starts tumbling around her. Will she have the courage to keep going or will she break down amongst it all?
