Raglen has the gift.
Ever since the rule of the tyrant King Archovar, magic has been forbidden and punishable by death. Although none have apposed the his rule, there are whispers of rebellion. Raglen is a powerful and gifted wizard trying to hide his growing abilities. Ever since the age of 5, he has been apprenticed by a powerful wizard master named Gorlak. His intentions hidden from the boy, Gorlak sees the potential inside of Raglen and has been grooming him for his role in the war.
When confronted by the hidden order of wizards and warriors, led by Gorlak, Raglen realizes that his entire world was a lie. He begins to lose faith in his master and himself. After refusing to help their cause, they reveal shocking revelations about his family. With no choice, Raglen is forced where he never wanted to be - into the middle of war.
