So what happens when Avery is forced to leave the Air Force due to an honorable discharge and becomes Tony's personal assistant, making the two spend a lot more time together? 

And what happens when they get a little bit closer than they probably should?

Pepper Potts was a very smart and loyal woman. Her loyalty was sometimes a curse given that she really did love Tony Stark. But, her brain overwhelmed her loyalty after she learned about what had happened because of the Sokovia Accords. And it was everything that had happened, not just what Tony wanted her to know with everything just being his version of what happened. Pepper was going to learn as much as she could and help her friends. Even if she ended up losing her fiance in the process. But, if she ended up doing what was right instead of what was easy, then it would be worth it to her. (Civil War one-shot. I do not own the Avengers, Black Panther, Spider-Man, or Marvel.)

This story takes place during the MCU's Iron Man 1 8 year old Stephanie Stark is Tony Starks adopted daughter. The two aren't necessarily close, but after Tony is kidnapped they both seem to realize how important they are to each other. Extended Summary - Stephanie Aiken was was born into a family of scientists, but only a few months after her birthday there was a fire. Her parents, Eric and Lillian Aiken, died and baby Stephanie went missing for 7 years. She was presumed dead, until found and handed over to a family very close to the Aikens. The Starks. Tony was shocked to find out he was now legal guardian of a child, but after some convincing from Pepper, his trusty assistant, he took her in as his own. Stephanie never really spoke, she was closed off and didn't like physical contact and Tony was okay with that. Less work for him. But after Tony disappears for three months, they both realize how much they cared for each other. Disclaimer!! I do not own any of Marvel Cinematic. The plot and characters all belong to the Russo Brothers and Stan lee. The only thing I own is Stephanie and her background. ALSO, this is my story if I see anyone else copying it there will be problems. Book 1 of the Stephanie Stark Series - Stephanie Stark series is a project that is still in progress.

Tony Stark and the reader have been best friends since before College, from there they started dating to eventually became married. However, their marriage faces complications when Tony starts coming home late at night, and becoming distant, leaving the reader feeling alone and hurt. *This is not completely canon, since Tony didn't reveal to the public that he was Ironman until Ironman 2, which is set in 2011 (roughly) And he knew Bruce before meeting him during the Avengers. Not helping their problems, a new threat came to be; a powerful terrorist leader named the Mandarin has been responsible for multiple bombings. Tony fears that Pepper might leave him and take Emma with her because she's had enough, especially when she gets visited by an old interest, Killian. After Happy Hogan was severely injured by one of the bombings, an angry Tony gave a threatening promise to Mandarin on the news, which later caused a terrorist attack on Tony's own house, with Pepper and Emma inside. Everyone was left thinking Tony was dead, but he left Pepper and Emma a message, telling them he was alive.
