Ever since the well known Punisher escapes prison and the explosion accident, no one has seen him since. Karen believes that Frank Castle is still in New York while Matt and Foggy believe that he fled the city. 
Matt Murdock, who has a separate life as Daredevil, continues to protect New York City, or in other words, "his city." Crime seemed to take a decrease ever since the incident with Elektra and Frisk finally put behind bars. Which seemed strange to Matt considering that last time Frisk was in prison, crime took an increase.
